The Militarization of AI?

I'm not sure how to feel about the militarization of tech that is happening right now in order to secure resources and infrastructure for the AI build-out. It harkens back to nation state protection of fossil fuel energy resources - I wrote about that today as well as a few other interesting items from this past week’s news:
